The Maine Center for Sport and Coaching's

to information that promotes positive and healthy athletic
competition. It incorporates developmentally appropriate
coaching practices, core principles in the conduct of
interscholastic sports, organizational and planning skills,
psychosocial dimensions of coaching, and effective
communication techniques with players, parents and the
community.
Successful completion of the Online Coaching Eligibility Course
meets the requirement for the Maine Principals' Association's
(MPA) policy http://www.mpa.cc/coach_guidelines.html

the course successfully, coaches must earn a minimum quiz score
of 60% and an overall course average of 80%.
Upon successful completion, the MCSC will mail coaches a
certificate of completion and send an email confirmation of
completion to the school/organization administrator. Please
contact the MCSC to request confirmation to any other party.
Course Fee: $35
